Z-distribution

Used for a sample size of n drawn from a normal distribution with mean µ and standard deviation σ. Used to determine the area under the normal curve.

z Distribution Formula

Z-test

A test of a statistical hypothesis that the population mean µ is equal to the sample mean x̄ when the population standard deviation is known.

The greater result of the formula when calculating CpK. Shows the distance from the tail of the distribution to the specification which shows the greatest capability
